Let us address one of the most honest disclosures on our label: Choline appears at 0.04mg, which registers as 0% Daily Value. We include it because it is part of our complete formula, and we are going to be direct about what that dose means.
Choline is an essential nutrient involved in cell membrane structure, neurotransmitter synthesis and lipid transport. The adequate intake is 550mg for men and 425mg for women. Our 0.04mg is effectively a trace presence.
Gummy supplements face real formulation constraints. Choline has a strong, bitter taste that is difficult to mask in a flavored gummy format. Including a meaningful dose would compromise the product's taste and consumer compliance.
Many brands would simply leave choline off the label at this dose. We chose to print it because our commitment is to disclose everything in the formula, including the parts that are not impressive. This is what full transparency means in practice.
Eggs (one large egg provides ~147mg), liver, soybeans, beef and wheat germ are the richest dietary sources. For choline specifically, food remains your best source. Gelagen does not pretend otherwise.
